RCA Rural Carrier Associate

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Rural Carrier Associate to join our team.
As a Rural Carrier Associate, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to rural areas.
This is a physically demanding role that requires excellent driving skills and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities: - Drive assigned route to deliver mail and packages to rural areas - Load and unload mail and packages from the vehicle - Sort and organize mail and packages for efficient delivery - Follow established delivery routes and schedules - Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers in a professional and courteous manner - Collect outgoing mail from customers and ensure proper postage is applied - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including obtaining signatures when required - Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws while operating the vehicle Qualifications: - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and walking for extended periods of time - Previous experience in warehouse, courier, or customer service roles is preferred - Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is a plus - Experience driving refrigerated trailers is an asset We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for career advancement within our organization.
