Field Transportation Aide (Summer Seasonal)

Position Title: Field Transportation Aide Locations: Mitchell Agency: Department of Transportation Minimum Salary: $17.
09 per hour Closing Date: March 31, 2024 Hiring Manager: Jay Peppel The normal summer season is approximately May through September.
Opportunities may exist to begin earlier and work later.
Most positions involve outdoor work and strenuous physical labor.
Seasonal employees are paid only for hours worked.
Duties: Perform skilled activities on construction inspection crew or survey crew.
Work depends on crew assignment but may include project inspection activities, materials testing, setting stakes, running survey equipment, and/or checking materials.
Requirements: Must be age 18.
Valid driver’s license required.
Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, occasional heavy lifting, and operate hand tools.
Travel required for some positions.
