Independent Contractor Qualifications: * Run under Soar Transportation Groups Authority * Must meet IC Criteria – Work History, Driving Record, Background Check * ELD compliant Driver tech will be installed after Orientation & Contract is signed * 2290 Must be current.
* Accept current active physical, if I/C would like a new physical he is responsible for the charge.
* Current Safety Inspection and emissions Insurance Requirements: * Physical Damage Insurance * Bobtail / Non-trucking liability * Occupational Accident Coverage * General Liability coverage & Cargo Insurance under SOAR insurance umbrella.
* Passenger Insurance (optional) Independent Contractor’s have a list of fixed costs associated with our IC program that are deducted from their settlement each week (even if you are not running).
This does not include fuel or truck payment.
