JOB SUMMARY
Drives haul truck to transport large rocks to and from specified destinations.
Loads and unloads truck.
Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
Lift, move, carry, hold 2 1/2” high pressure hose for washing spilled material.
Clean up spoilage from under conveyors, vibrating screens, rock crushers and other equipment using shovels and high-pressure hoses.
To be a successful haul truck driver you will need the following:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or
Up to one-month related experience or training, or
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Driver’s license required.
Ensure OSHA, DOT, EPA, DNR, MSHA, Federal, State, and Local safety and environmental regulation compliance including attending training.
This position may require you to wear a half mask respirator at times and therefore, you will be required to be fit tested.
Per OSHA “The Respiratory Protection standard, paragraph 29 CFR 1910.
134(g)(1)(i)(A), states that respirators shall not be worn when facial hair comes between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face or that interferes with valve function.
Facial hair is allowed as long as it does not protrude under the respirator seal or extend far enough to interfere with the device's valve function.
Short mustaches, sideburns, and small goatees that are neatly trimmed so that no hair compromises the seal of the respirator usually do not present a hazard and, therefore, do not violate paragraph 1910.

Typical hours during Production are Sunday-Thursday 4:30pm-4:30am.
Friday 4:30pm-2:30am.
2 Saturdays per month.
Typical hours during Maintenance are Monday-Thursday 5pm-3am.
No Saturdays.
