As a Mortgage Processing Specialist 2, you will work with others in the mortgage department to ensure timely and accurate file processing, closing, and shipping of loans for our members.
Your success in this position helps our members reach their financial goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following -
Reviewing mortgage applications and documents for errors
Preparing final documents for underwriting and closing
Communication with originators, underwriters, title companies, and members
See loan file through from application to investor purchase
Maintain current knowledge of applicable processing, underwriting, investor, and regulatory compliance updates
Skills & Abilities:
Must possess a high degree of member service, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
Must demonstrate reasoning, problem-solving, language, and mathematical skills.
Must possess a high degree of organization and attention to detail.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment
Must demonstrate a good understanding of the mortgage process and mortgage documentation.

Requirements:
Education and Experience: High School diploma or GED and 2-3 years related mortgage loan processing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
