SUMMARY Assist in the closing and administration of mortgage loans according to established regulations and procedures.
Support all other roles involved in loan origination and processing to accurately gather documents and coordinate with the title company to close the loan.
This role is responsible for accurate preparation of the closing disclosure, closing documents, and funding of the loan until purchased by the investor.
Verify the loan files meet all applicable regulatory requirements in preparation for loan closing, adherence to disclosure timeframes for Closing Disclosure (CD) delivery, while working with various settlement agents to ensure closings are held on time with error free documents.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: other duties may be assigned.
Manage assigned mortgage pipelines, being cognizant of service levels, quality and compliance, and client expectations.
Review file documentation to verify compliance with Bank, regulatory, and investor requirements (conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and state bond programs).
Review Sales Contract for all signatures, loan type, and correct date.
Validate fees.
Verify all attachments or addendums are scanned.
Update the Loan Origination Software to match file documentation as it is received.
Verify all File Contacts have been entered into the LOS.
Review Drive Findings from Data Verify and clear any LDP/GSA issues that arise.
Run Mavent and Early Check for any compliance issues and ensure all are addressed appropriately.
Validate all invoices for closing and balance with Settlement Agent.
Review and validate all request for wires submitted by team utilizing existing procedures and guidelines.
Provide exceptional turn-time on a high volume of mortgage loan transactions.
Provide guidance to other team members (leadership and mentoring).
Recommend and drive process improvements.
Assist with peer coaching, development, training, and back-up support.
Troubleshoot system issues as they arise.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required and 4+ years banking experience with an emphasis on loan processing and real estate lending; or demonstrated ability to perform the job functions.
Candidate must possess minimum 3 years of mortgage experience and knowledge of Encompass LOS.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations (must be able to comprehend complex income situations for qualifying purposes).
REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk and talk or hear.
The employee frequently is required to stand and sit.
The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
