This is a full-time opportunity with consistent day-time work hours.
Pay ranges from $18-$35/hr, DOE! Preference will be given to candidates with prior MIG and stick welding, carbon arc gouging, and mechanical experience.
We will provide training to candidates who demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude and desire to learn.
Ideal candidates enjoy thinking outside the box, have a passion for their craft, and are motivated to complete quality work.

Volga, SD 57071 What you get to do! Summary: Responsible for completing assigned welding projects or tasks according to quality standards.
This position will work both independently and with a team to complete tasks safely and with high quality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
The duties and responsibilities below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability.
Other duties may be assigned.
Effectively use a MIG welder to build/prepare projects.
Demonstrate effective and efficient carbon arc gouging.
Demonstrate an understanding of and ability to read drawings in the set-up, middle and/or finish capacity for various projects.
Comprehend and follow checklists, masters and prints.
Conduct all work in a safe manor, including use of a hoist, step stool and hand tools.
Follow all safety and company policies and procedures including the use of all required PPE.
Maintain quality standards including recognizing parts issues and defects so they can be corrected.
Demonstrate attention to detail.
May be asked to assist in training of other employees.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Physical Demands: The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs.
force frequently and lift 10-20 lbs.

Must be able to stand/walk for 8-10 hours.
Must be able to use hands to handle or feel; ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and ability to use a steel stool.
Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
Specific vision abilities required include, close, distance, color, depth and peripheral vision.
The noise level in the work environment is usually mild to moderate.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

In order to perform this job successfully an individual will have the ability to read/understand work orders and how to read/use a tape measure or other necessary measuring devices.

Education and/or Experience: High School diploma is required.
Related experience is preferred, but not required.
Any combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
