Industrial Engineer

Description:*Job Summary:* Analyze manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and labor-intensive activities.
Develop and implement plans for improvement.
*Potential Travel Requirements:* 10% Domestic: 95% International: 5% *Job Responsibilities/Key Accountabilities:* * Analyze, develop, and implement process improvements and technological upgrades that maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
* Perform ergonomic studies to develop and implement safer and easier work methods.
* Conduct Value Stream Mapping and develop actionable strategies to improve processes.
* Develop design and production standards in cooperation with management and user personnel.
* Design the layout of facilities and determining personnel requirements.
* Monitor production flows and recommend optimal solutions for production flow.
* Train staff for new processes and provide procedures, instructions, and manuals.
* Self-motivated, open minded, detail-oriented individual * Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:*Educational Requirements/Degree(s):* * Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering *Job Requirements/Knowledge and Experience:* * Advanced use of Excel, Word and other Microsoft products.
* Background in Lean and 5S priciples * Strong math skills and ability to perform structural calculations.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
