Production Planner

Description: * The Production Planner will be responsible for efficiently scheduling and coordinating manufacturing processes to meet production goals and customer demands.
* Potential Travel Requirements: 5% Domestic: 100% International: 0% * Job Responsibilities/Key Accountabilities: * Develop and maintain production schedules to optimize resource utilization.
* Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely availability of raw materials, work in progress, and resources.
* Generate and provide work orders to production.
* Establish due dates for each step of production.
* Update ERP to track progress of production activities, including planned hours, task completion, etc.
* Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to meet changing demands.
* Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
* Communicate with internal and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
* Collaborate with the operations team to resolve any production issues and delays.
* Generate regular reports on production performance and adherence to schedules.
* Coordinate internal and external quality inspections.
Requirements: * Proven experience as a Production Planner in a manufacturing setting preferred.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
* Experience working in a manufacturing environment producing custom products would be a plus.
* Excellent organization skills.
* Operate within a fast paced environment with a strong skillset in prioritizing tasks.
* Experience with Excel, Word and other Microsoft products.
* Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
* Operate within the manufacturing environment.
*Educational Requirements/Degree(s):* High school diploma required.
