Welder/Fabricator

This position works in our precast concrete plant mig welding steel to make material handling components to be cast into concrete.
Working independently while performing repetitive tasks is common.
_This position works 4 10-hour days Monday through Thursday starting at 6:00AM.
NO WEEKENDS.
_ *Duties:* -Read mechanical drawings make welds -Read project cut sheet and cut pieces using shear or plasma cutter -Operate stud welder to create weld plates -Operate a forklift with boom to move inventory and to prepare pieces to ship to job sites -Operate overhead hoist to lift and move pieces *Requirements:* -Demonstrate knowledge of different types of steel used in steel production.
-Must be able to read tape measure to 1/16th of an inch.
-Lift 10-25 pounds regularly, 50 pounds occasionally.
-Must be able to obtain company Mig certification.
-Able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally.
-Able to bend at the waist frequently and work in a standing or kneeling position for extended periods of time.
