Welder $18-$24/hr.
+ DOE Up to $4,000 sign on bonus! (1st shift) Mon-Thurs 6am-4:30pm, (2nd shift) Mon-Thurs 4:30pm-2:30am, some Fridays may be needed A Sheldon Iowa area manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Welder to work in a team environment! This Welder will be joining metal parts together for a wide range of products, big and small.

Welder Responsibilities: Able to set a welder according to job requirements Able to read weld symbols To follow safety procedures To keep an accurate count on product Able to read prints and weld according to print directions Able to weld in multiple positions Able to read and use measuring tools accurately Able to use a hoist or crane and know the correct procedures to operate it To complete jobs on a timely and consistent basis To become a Welder, you’ll need: High school diploma/GED Hand welding experience Must be safety minded Requires attention to detail and a high standard of quality Must comply to ISO 9000 required policies Must be a team player who can work effectively in a team environment Good interpersonal, verbal communication and active listening skills Able to lift 50 pounds occasionally and push/pull 100 pounds occasionally What you’ll get as a Welder: Starting Pay: $18-$24/hr.
