Construction Field Manager

With numerous ongoing projects annually across the organization, the Construction Field Manager position plays a pivotal role in overseeing and orchestrating every facet of a construction project, from its initial planning stages to successful completion.
The ideal candidate will contribute to budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation, while ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
Moreover, this role entails active collaboration with diverse stakeholders such as engineers, architects, contractors, and clients, fostering effective communication and ensuring the seamless delivery of successful projects.
Requirements: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

· Conduct and document observations of construction project via Field Reports and related construction documents, · Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications at a high level.
· Coordinate and oversee Construction Technicians, Interns, and other personnel on construction projects, as assigned.
· Oversee and coordinate construction schedule, material/equipment lead times, work progress reports, and other project documentation and reports.
· Lead and prepare agendas, minutes, and supporting documents for construction progress meetings, internal meetings, and pre-task meetings.
· Assist with review of project documentation including pay applications, change orders, RFIs, RFPs, submittals and other documents to ensure project success.
· Responsible for day-to-day construction oversight and coordination with contractors.
· Assist with project estimating, take-off of quantities, and project close-out.
· Coordinate with other project team members on efficient communication with clients, government and regulatory authorities, contractors, and the general public.
· Assist with preparation of engineering plans and reports.
· May be assigned to multiple projects at the same time in different locations.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not include supervisory responsibilities but does require overseeing and guiding personnel on construction projects.
