As
a press helper you will be a key team member
helping press operators set up an
d
operate a Goss
Web Press to
produce a quality printed product.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist press operators with set up and operation of Goss Web Press through miscellaneous duties to
ensure timely and high quality print products are compl
eted.
Complete roll changes as needed
requiring the
ability to lift up to 75 lbs on a regular basis.
Jog, stack, and box completed print products.
General cleaning in area and assist with
equipment
maintenance and upkeep as
directed
.
Load/unload produc
ts, assist with inks and warehouse duties as needed.
Work as a team to ensure print schedule is followed and quality checks are completed on a regular
basis.
Balance quality, productivity, cost and safety to achieve positive results.
Assist
with the oper
ation of production bindery equipment
as needed
.
Must follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) related to job function and
G
ood Manufacturing
Practices (GMP’S).
Must comply with all company policies.
Work OT hours as required.
K
nowledge / Skills:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Ability to work well as a team to ensure production goals are met.
Must be able to stand for long per
iods of time and lift up to 75 lbs on a regular basis.
