Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of field operations for construction projects
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
Keep construction schedule updated, monitor slippage vs.
baseline.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality control.
- Compliance with safety regulations along with 30 hour OSHA training.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise
- Provide leadership and supervision to field staff, including training and development
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders on cloud based project management software.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures on the job site
- Review, update, correct shop drawings in pdf.
BlueBeam proficient preferred.
- Assist with or verify building staking and layout.
- Commercial Carpentry Skills:
-Set and Swing hollow metal and wood doors & frames
-Basic steel stud and wood framing.
-Drywall backing
-ADA required equipment.
(Grab Bars & Hardware)
- Toilet partitions
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Field Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
- Familiarity in construction management software such as BuilderTrend
- Familiarity with contract documents, schematics, and construction drawings
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members, subcontractors, and clients
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure
