We are building the new school in George and are looking for local talent to help with the building project.
Job Overview:
We are seeking Construction Laborers to join our team as we build the new school in George.
As a Construction Laborer, you will assist plumbing and sheetmetal Journeyman on various tasks on the construction site.
This is a hands-on role that requires physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites
- Perform general labor tasks, such as lifting and carrying materials
- Operate power tools and equipment under supervision
- Support skilled tradespeople in their daily tasks
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Help with construction inspections and ensure compliance with building codes
Requirements: \*Must be at least 18 years old\*
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work well with others on the job site
This is primarily designed as a summer position.
Permament positions are available but most of our jobs are wthin 60 miles of Sioux Falls.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $19.
