*Security Technician:*
Foss Security is seeking a skilled and dedicated Security Technician to join our team.
As a Security Technician, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining security systems for our clients.
You will collaborate with the team to ensure the effective implementation and operation of security solutions.
*Key Roles:*
* Installation and Termination: Install and terminate security equipment, including cameras, access control, alarms, and other systems.
* System Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct comprehensive testing and troubleshooting of security systems to ensure proper functionality and resolve any issues.
* Equipment and Device Configuration: Configure and program security devices and equipment to meet client requirements and specifications.
* Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of installations, configurations, and service reports.
Generate reports to communicate project status and provide the necessary documentation for client reference.
*Responsibilities:*

* Maintain a neat and professional appearance, wearing company-branded attire and appropriate work shoes or boots.
* Foster a respectful and collaborative work environment, treating colleagues as teammates and sharing responsibility for every job.
* Communicate effectively with the team members, discussing projects, required parts, tools, and other pertinent details to ensure efficient and accurate completion of tasks.
* Demonstrate punctuality, dependability, and efficient work habits.
Minimize personal distractions during work hours, including excessive phone use that impairs concentration.
* Provide advance notice for planned time off (PTO) by adding it to the calendar as early as possible.
* Work steadily, safely, and strive for efficiency on every project, delivering high-quality results within project timelines.
* Maintain company vehicles and tools, ensuring regular maintenance, proper inventory management, and cleanliness.
* Utilize the Fleetmatics system as instructed, updating job notes, and making necessary calls while a passenger is in the vehicle.
* Drive company vehicles responsibly and safely in the community, limiting usage to work-related purposes only.
* Utilize the Fleetmatics system daily, reviewing previous job notes/emails, and addressing any outstanding items before returning to a site.
* Ensure completion details are accurately entered into the Fleetmatics system for each project.
* Complete projects neatly and professionally, adhering to Foss or manufacturer specifications and utilizing the best of your technical abilities.
* Properly label and document cables, prints, and project materials, protecting them and storing them in designated locations.
* Assist in project scheduling, notifying sales/project management 30-60 minutes before completing a job, enabling them to schedule additional projects efficiently.
* -Collaborate with sales/project management on project-related questions, while taking responsibility for project completion, training, and paperwork.
* -Submit daily emails and Fleetmatics completion notes, providing accurate and detailed updates on work progress and completion status.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.
00 - $30.
