Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic with Inspection Authority

*AIRCRAFT MECHANIC* Roger Wilco Aviation Services (RWAS) provides aircraft maintenance and avionics installations in the SE South Dakota, NE Nebraska, NW Iowa, & SW Minnesota area.
We have been in business since April, 2022.
RWAS has applied for Repair Station Certification with the Rapid City FSDO.
We anticipate that certification to happen in 2024.
We are looking to expand into more comprehensive avionics installations, Rotax service center, and turbine/jet aircraft opportunities.
*Job Description:* We are seeking an A&P IA to join our team in Yankton, SD.
This position will be responsible for the inspection and repair of aircraft including but not limited to: airplanes, helicopters, and other general aviation aircraft.
Avionics and/or turbine experience is desired but not required.
*Qualifications:* ·Must have 3+ years of experience working in aircraft repair or general repair as an A&P.
·Must have a valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificate with an IA.
·Must be able to work overtime as needed.
·Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
and stand for up to 8 hours at a time.
·Must be able to use hand tools and shop equipment including air tools and power tools.
·Must be able to work on all types of aircrafts including but not limited to: airplanes, helicopters, and other general aviation aircraft.
·Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $35.
00 - $50.
