Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in troubleshooting various engineering design and manufacturing problems as they occur on the shop floor
Work with manufacturing to support continuous improvement opportunities
Perform engineering activities to assist production (i.
e.
: designing parts, selecting drives & electric motors, etc.
)
Act as a liaison with the corporate office to document engineering issues.
Act, live, and behave by TCF Core Values
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Mechanical engineering student or equivalent.
Able to work independently with minimal instruction.
Proficient in MS Word and Excel and general computer usage.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficient in the use of design tools such as SolidWorks
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Standard office environment and manufacturing environment
Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
Ability to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, reach
Ability to work sitting at a computer
Ability to work with personnel on shop floor.
