Job Details Description KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Create a great work environment for all employees to thrive, and a safety-first culture where productivity, reliability and safety are top of mind where one is not lost in optimizing another.
Ensures continuous and efficient production and drives YoY improvements in safety, capacity and quality and cost to meet the needs of the customers and the business.
Leadership at a high level providing a unified professional direction to entire plant staff across multiple shifts.
Facilitate employee collaboration to create a successful team through appropriate performance management, coaching, and development.
Ensure processes are in place to onboard, train and retain new employees.
Meet all customer commitments while assuring the facilities meet product requirements.
Plan, direct, and coordinate all manufacturing operations necessary to transform raw material into finished goods.
Collect and analyze data to determine where waste could be occurring or where improvements could be made to manufacturing operations.
Analyze material consumption and recommend methods to achieve the most efficient utilization of materials to support shop flow.
Ensure quality in our products through effective training and accountability.
Monitor manufacturing performance against budget/goal on a monthly basis.
Coordinate effective plant maintenance programs.
Ensure that TCF policies, procedures and guidelines are followed.
May assist in directing the work force at multiple facilities in order to achieve the production needs Ability to consistently demonstrate the TCF Leadership Competencies – being reflective, inquisitive, highly communicative, and a leader of inspiration and change.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree (preference for degree in industrial engineering or manufacturing engineering).
5+ years’ experience in sheet metal and welding manufacturing with responsibilities including industrial engineering, quality control and/or manufacturing management.
Working knowledge of manufacturing flow, machine tool technology, quality assurance programs, and safety programs in a manufacturing environment.
5+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing setting.
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills including an ability to partner with internal departments and the ability to communicate to all levels of the organization.
Ability to lead by example and drive accountability throughout the plant.
Ability to meet and exceed the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
