Responsible to plan, manage and direct inbound, manufacturing and distribution activities of the Terminal in order to achieve efficient and economical production within established terminal budget guidelines.
Duties And/Or Responsibilities: 1.
Provide a leadership role in assuring that work performed is done in a safe and environmentally conscious manner.
Lead all employees by visibly engaging in all aspects of Jebro Safety Culture.
2.
Organize, formulate and prepare Monthly, Weekly and Daily Production Schedules (DPS) and SBS forecast sheets to conform to product receipt and delivery dates, manufacturing capacities and available inventory capacities.
3.
Plan, direct and supervise the scheduling, production and control operations to achieve receipt and production goals in conformance with date commitments, relative to delivery schedules.
Responsible for the accuracy of daily tank inventories, relative to materials received, storage arrangements and efficient handling methods, timely distribution to manufacturing and shipping areas to avoid delays and interruption of production operations and in compliance with the daily production schedule.
4.
Personally supervise and expedite rush orders and revise Daily Production Schedules to offset delays caused by manufacturing malfunction, engineering changes, revised shipment dates, cancellations, etc.
5.
Act as a liaison to keep personnel informed on matters of communications, decisions and policies.
Supervise and coordinate the various programs essential to manufacturing procedures, e.
g.
training, safety, housekeeping, work simplification, cost wage and salary administration, etc.
Responsible to maintain an effective occupational evaluation and salary program as well as an employee appraisal system, focusing on employee development.
6.
Through daily surveillance of the Utility Sheet, Supplies and Repairs Breakdown, and Daily time sheets, control costs in conformance with budget guidelines.
Advise GM of Operations where and when costs are above budget guidelines and recommend corrective actions.
7.
Assist in planning and execution of capital improvement projects.
8.
Supervise daily quality control sampling and testing on an "as needed" basis in accordance with the Jebro Quality Control Program.
9.
Always work safely and take action to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes, and behaviors.
10.
Perform other duties as assigned, including general labor.
Minimum Qualifications: 1.
High school or GED.
2.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications 1.
Industrial certifications or equivalent experience.
2.
2+ year’s leadership experience.
