QUALIFICATIONS
* 1-2 years relevant experience (Required)
* Biogas operations management: 1 year (Preferred)
GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES
To maintain, repair and trouble-shoot the biogas cluster and its automated controls.
Work involves responsibility for maintenance, preventative maintenance, and calibration of instrumentation for plant operations, in compliance with state regulations.
Work is performed with considerable independence under the direction of the Lead Operator, subject to review through work orders, reports and results achieved.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Maintain and troubleshoot sensors and other automation equipment throughout the cluster
* Perform daily checks and walkthroughs
* Perform and complete work orders and calibration schedules
* Perform the installation, maintenance and repair of the physical plant and pump stations and all their components.
* Work with electronic control systems incuding microprocessors, sensors, and final control elements used in automated processes
* Measures levels, pressures, temperatures, flows, and analytical processes
* Uses testing instrumentation and maintains testing equipment
* On call to respond to emergencies and breakdowns at the cluster and remote pump stations.
* Perform all work in conformance to Occupational Safety and Health Act regulations.
* Maintain open communications with the Lead Operator regarding the status of equipment and any malfunctions, as well as make recommendations for repairs and improvements to these systems.

* Be able to perform and document maintenance activities
* Perform daily checks and preventative maintenance
* Have a working knowledge of instrumentation and controls
* Have a working knowledge of the machinery used for manure treatment
* Have a thorough knowledge of controls equipment and the ability to diagnose and correct equipment malfunctions.
* Have a working knowledge of basic machinery preventive maintenance and repair.
* Have the ability to work with independence and to make routine decisions on the operation of the plant processes and equipment during the Lead Operator’s absence.

Pay: $32.
