Job Description:
The Maintenance and Set-up Associate performs a wide variety of general building, maintenance repairs, and services throughout the plant.
The maintenance and set-up team member will assist in the preparation of compression presses, finishing equipment, and other related equipment for operation according to the current production priorities.
Responsible for changing parts, repairing the mechanical components of tools, equipment, and machinery.
Will also perform all other routine maintenance work such as adjusting and calibrating equipment and machinery.
Duties:
Preparation, installation, troubleshooting, and removal of compression molds;
Verify mold operation and readiness prior to installation and start-up;
Preventive maintenance of assigned equipment, tooling, and facilities;
Troubleshooting of equipment as requested;
Assist the Quality Assurance team to enhance product quality and resolve outstanding maintenance concerns associated with molds and/or equipment;
Keep work area and equipment clean, safe, and in operable conditions
Perform routine building repairs;
Operate equipment needed to perform daily job functions;
Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures.
Assist in other work areas as needed based on business requirements;
Perform other duties as assigned.
