*Job Summary* A Post Frame Construction Carpenter will perform a wide range of physical labor tasks on the construction site including site preparation, use of hand and power tools, and cleanup of the job site.
*Duties/Responsibilities:* * Preparing construction sites, materials, and tools.
* Loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment.
* Assisting with transport and operation of heavy machinery and equipment.
* Reading and interpreting blueprints.
* Operates a wide variety of hand and power tools.
* Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
* Receives and carries out instructions.
* Performs other related duties as assigned.
*Required Skills/Abilities:* * Ability to understand directions and read blueprints.
* Ability to work at heights exceeding 20 feet.
* Works well as part of a team.
* Ability to travel as needed.
* Ability to work alone once instructions have been given.
* Ability to work a 40-hour week with overtime.
*Education/Experience:* * Successful completion of vocational school or technical college or apprenticeship program; OR the equivalent on-the-job training and experience preferred.
* OSHA 10 Certification preferred but not required.
* Class A CDL preferred but not required.
*Physical Requirements:* * Must be able to lift up to and in excess of 75 pounds.
* Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and elements.
* Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
* Must be able to wear proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and any other safety related equipment.
