Learn more About Daktronics! The manufacturing facility located in Sioux Falls, SD will support the billboard and fuel light niches within the Commercial market.
The factory will be responsible for the timely and quality production of digital billboards, fuel lights displays, and additional products as business needs demand.
Production employees enjoy a four-day work week, Monday through Thursday, with overtime being required and scheduled when workload requires.
This is accomplished by working extended hours Monday – Thursdays or on Fridays when workload requires.

m.
to 4:30 p.
m.
By applying to this posting, you will be considered for open positions in Final Assembly and this position in Electronic Assembly.

Placement will be subject to qualifications, preferences, and factory needs.
Machine Operators in Electronic Assembly will: Assemble electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies using hand tools and calibrated equipment.
Be familiar with surface mount and through hole assembly processes.
Be knowledgeable about ESD procedures and IPC specifications.
Production Assemblers will: Assemble metal components.
Complete basic wiring.
Assemble electrical panels.
Read and understand schematics, engineering drawings and bills of material.
Other general job duties include: Learn Daktronics products, systems, and processes and produce product in a safe, accurate and timely manner.
Be flexible to work in other departments as needed.
Learn and practice Lean Manufacturing methodology.
Follow company policies and procedures.
Regularly and reliably work the scheduled hours.
These scheduled hours include being willing and able to work overtime as needed to keep up with production demands.
This includes being available to work Friday.
Complete other duties as assigned to meet customer needs.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required.
Good communication skills.
Physical requirements include the ability to: operate automated equipment and/or hand tools, work with some odors (solder/paint/coating), lift and carry up to 50 pounds and/or awkward items, stand for the full shift, distinguish and identify wire colors, and have steady hand-eye coordination.
Ability to successfully participate as a member of a team.
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Ability to learn quickly.
Wear all proper protective equipment as required in work area in accordance with Daktronics Safety Policy and OSHA standards.
Items may include the following: safety glasses, safety shoes/boots, hearing protection, electrostatic discharge wear and others as determined necessary by Daktronics Risk and Safety Department.
Fluent in English, written and verbal.
