Sales and Preconstruction Coordinator

Company Description Cosand Construction Company, LLC is a general contractor and subcontractor located in Sioux Falls, SD that specializes in rough and finish carpentry for both new construction and remodels of both residential and commercial properties.
Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Sioux Falls, SD.
As a Sales and Preconstruction Coordinator, you will be responsible for assessing building plans and identifying potential construction challenges.
This is primarily a sales and customer relationship role.
You will also be responsible for communicating with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure a clear understanding of the project scope.
Additionally, you will be responsible for sales support and business development activities such as responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), assisting with project proposals and presentations, and preparing project budgets.
Qualifications Must have a passion for working with people, and the ability to help them bring their projects to life.
Bachelor's degree (not required) in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales and preconstruction coordination, or a related field A strong sales background is preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated experience with construction plans and specifications Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and time-management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with construction management software is a plus Ability to maintain positive relationships with clients, engineers, and contractors Ability to help clients define their vision of the project and effectively communicate to design and estimating team.

You will be the customers primary contact on the front and back end of projects.
