We are looking for a friendly, professional individual to provide excellent handyman/maintenance services for our growing Commercial Property Management Division (50+ properties).
Responsibilities
Light Carpentry:
Comfortable handling a table saw/chop saw
Building signage
Delivering/Picking up signage
Comfortable on a tall ladder
General care and maintenance for the interior and exterior properties, which may include, but is not limited to:
Basic plumbing
Roofing leak repairs
Minor electrical
HVAC filter changes
Minor landscaping duties
General cleaning
Spraying chemicals
Snow removal
Compile, organize, and upload adequate supporting documentation in the Property Management software, Appfolio
Weekly inspections of properties
Address items that need immediate repair and record/document items to be fixed in the future
Meet with tenants to document needs of the property
Requirements
Experience in general maintenance/carpentry
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to learn computer software
Professional attitude and appearance
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Self-starter, problem solver and proactive when issues arise
Great organizational skills
Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Must have valid driver’s license
Background check may be required prior to hire
Physical Requirements
Position could involve standing for 8+ hours a day, working in all weather conditions and lifting 100 pounds.
Position could involve working indoors and outdoors with exposure to mechanical/moving parts hazards, dust, dirt, odors, irritants and/or to high noise levels.
Position could involve kneeling, lifting, crouching, bending, pulling, climbing, pushing, and/or twisting the upper body.
Position could involve bending while pulling and/or lifting objects weighing up to 100 pounds or requiring up to 100 pounds of force to move with the assistance of another person.
This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week.
Pay range is $22 - $25/hr DOE, benefits negotiable, based on experience and equipment.
