The Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day execution of large commercial construction projects.
Works with Project Managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure the project remains on schedule and within the allocated budget.
Regularly supervises work of employees and subcontractors; inspects and verifies work in progress.
Strictly enforces compliance with safety procedures.
Experience with commercial construction projects required.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience as a Project Superintendent in a commercial construction environment.
Regional travel required (typically within 150 miles of Sioux City, IA).
A 2-year or 4-year degree in Construction or related field an advantage, but not required.
Critical thinking, problem solving, conflict management, and clear communication.
Proactive project planning for all phases of construction including Safety, Productivity, Scheduling, Labor, Materials, and Equipment.
Valid driver s license.
