As a Plumbing Designer, you will play a key role in our engineering projects, contributing your hands-on plumbing experience to the design and implementation of cutting-edge mechanical systems.

As a Plumbing Designer at EAPC, you will:
Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, architects, and clients to ensure expectations are met and successful design is completed
Processes drawings received from the architect into models that can be used by the design team
Develops design approaches and concepts on assigned projects in coordination with the project engineer
Communicate project objectives, problems and solutions with clients, field personnel and internal staff.
Perform system design layout and sizing for assigned projects
Assist in the studies, load calculation, and selection of equipment to fit the project design
Assist or supervise in data collection and/or field verification
May hold project manager responsibilities on some projects; tasks include establishing project scope with the client, scheduling work, maintaining communication with the client, attending meetings
To join us, you should have:
Journeyman Plumber or equivalent experience
4+ years plumbing design/installation experience preferred, will consider lesser experienced candidates
Knowledge of state and/or local construction guidelines
Knowledge of applicable codes and standards
Knowledge of construction terminology
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Bluebeam
Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and work on multiple projects simultaneously
Quick technical comprehension and attention to client outcomes
Ability to travel and visit client work-sites
Valid driver’s license
Authorization to work in the U.

The position will report directly to the Mechanical Engineering Department Lead and will work as an integrated member of a multi-discipline, in-house team of engineers, architects, and designers/modelers.
Compensation is based on the applicant's skills, education, and other qualifications.
