JOB SUMMARY
Assist in plant operations and perform clean-up and routine asphalt plant maintenance.
Operate hand tools and safety equipment including but not limited to: grease guns, wrenches, shovels, fire hoses and cutting torches and stick welding.
Perform routine plant maintenance, including clean up.
Inspect plant for necessary maintenance and complete repairs as assigned.
To be a successful Assistant Plant Operator, you will have:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
or one to three months related experience and/or training;
or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Be able to work at heights.
Typical hours during Production are M-F 6am-6pm, some Saturdays 6am-noon may be necessary depending on customer needs.
Typical hours during Maintenance are M-F 7am-5pm.
