Pre-Finish Lead - $22-$25 an hour, depending on experience.
BPI is looking for a Pre-Finish Lead to join our Millwork team.
This position assists the Supervisor with the Millwork floor, oversees the activities of the crew, painting procedures, oversees the loading of material on trucks, and other duties assigned.
The ideal candidate has experience working in an environment that can be cold and hot during different seasons.
This person will need to be able to work safely and quickly, standing for long periods while managing orders and truck routes.
This person will need to be a team player and can lead staff daily.
Duties & Responsibilities:
To lead the activities of the Pre-Finish Department and Millwork floor.
You will be holding yourself and your team accountable for quality, inventory, and maintaining production expectations.
Replenishing products at the start and end of shifts to help with efficiency.
Staining and painting of doors/millwork per customer order.
Reading work orders to complete daily tasks.
The use of scanners is a requirement to receive material out of the shop.
Move products through shops and warehouse.
Package product with quality and care.
The person in this position will be active in all aspects of the pre-finish department, including being open to cross training.
Requirements:
Previous painting and/or Millwork experience preferred.
Able to move doors and materials.
Able to lift 50-75 lbs.
Able to move products from racking and pallets that require full use of arms and shoulders as well as bending at the waist and knees when necessary.
