Your responsibilities will include frequent jobsite visits and inspections, maintaining inventory of PPE and other safety control items, providing safety training opportunities for all staff, interacting with external parties regarding safety, conducting post-injury investigations, and documenting safe processes for all work tasks.
As our ideal candidate, your experience in a fast-paced environment and ability to understand commercial construction jobsite conditions and safety requirements will be crucial.
You will also be comfortable conducting safety training sessions in the classroom and in the field.

This position is full-time and is compensated at $65,000 to $135,000 annually based on qualifications and experience.
Safety Manager Responsibilities
Review projects for safety concerns.
Provide feedback on potential safety violations.
Complete jobsite inspections.
Maintain database of inspection forms.
Maintain records of jobsite inspections.
Maintain records of equipment inspections.
Provide Toolbox talk topics to field teams weekly.
Ensure that all employees are trained annually on required OSHA items.
Maintain the OSHA 300 injury log.
Work with HR regarding Work Comp injury claims.
Perform injury and accident analysis/investigation and provide recommendations.
Interact with OSHA, City, County, and State authorities as required.
Provide written documentation of safety violations and corrections.
Produce JSA documents with the help of workers.
Coordinate safety equipment and PPE including acquisition, distribution, and identification.
Maintain inventory of PPE and safety signage.
Coordinate 3rd party jobsite inspections.
Work with Primary contractors for safety compliance on all subcontracted jobsites.
Skills & Requirements
Ability to mediate conflicts and de-escalate interactions.
Familiarity with OSHA 1926 standards.
Ability to maintain multiple priorities.
Comfortable with spending the majority of time on jobsites directly interacting with staff.
Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written communication.
Organized and reliable.
