NuAge Builders is a general contractor specializing in commercial, industrial, and agricultural projects throughout the upper Midwest.
Job Summary/Responsibilities
The ideal candidate for the General Contruction Laborer position would posses storng team-work skills, ability to communicate well with construction managers, have skills in carpentry, and have a strong work ethic.
Our Laborer performs task involving physical labor at construction sites.
The General Construction Laborer position inculded but is not limited to the following responsibilities:
Maintain a clean and organized work area and general preparation of construction site
Ability to read a tape measure
Material handling: transfer to and from location and load and unload at location
Use of a variety of tools and machines such as: forklifts, hand tools, power tools, levels, saws etc.
Follow safety rules and regulations
Assist co-workers and supervisors with duties
Framing, steel work, wood work
Job Requirements
Display excellent communication skills
Self-motivated and detail-oriented
Concern for quality
Ability to perform labor activities
Ability to travel as needed
Perform labor activities which includes working at various heights
Prior constructin experience preferred
Able to lift heavy materials
Ability to work in various weather conditions
