Position Summary
Sky Dine, Inc.
is seeking an experienced and driven Point of Sale Support Specialist to support our growing company.
In this role, you will contribute to the overall success of the company by overseeing the efficient functioning of our POS, credit card, gift card and internal network systems.
This is a hands-on position in which you will work in a corporate office setting and on location at off site locations.
You will work as a member of the in-house technical support team to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize our in-house networks.
Responsibilities
Monitor POS, credit card, gift card system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively to minimize downtime and prevent disruptions
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, process flows, and SOPs
Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with company policies and industry best practices
Manage and prioritize technical support requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies, recommending innovative solutions to enhance our in house networks
Assist with software and hardware installations and upgrades
Work closely with third-party vendors and service providers to support the in house networks
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of disaster recovery and business continuity plans
Assist with basic web design, graphic design and photo editing for marketing purposes
Maintains and troubleshoots security camera systems
Maintain digital menu boards and manage menu printing
Collaborate with various cross-functional teams, including Operations and Finance, to provide technical support and contribute to the successful execution of projects
Develop and maintain auditing processes for banking, ATM procedures, deposit and cash procedures
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a technology capacity, related to the hospitality industry
Restaurant or retail service experience is recommended to understand POS software
Strong knowledge of networking, server administration, firewalls, and security systems
Proficiency in Windows
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Ability to be on call after hours
Ability for daily and occasionally overnight travel required within a tri-state area
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Work setting:
In Person, Corporate office setting
Travel day trips or overnight trips to off site locations
