DIGITAL PRESS OPERATOR

Key Responsibilities:  Prepare, set up, operate and run print projects on digital printing press.
 Read and follow ticket specs to ensure configurations are correct.
 Follow job schedule to insure jobs are timely.
 Run test runs and trials as requested.
 Complete regular quality checks; detect and report defective materials or potential problems.
 Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows safety regulations.
 Performs preventative maintenance on machines as required.
 Work to improve on the process and efficiency of new products and concepts.
 Must follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) related to job function and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’S).
 Must comply with all company policies.
 Additional job duties as needed.
Knowledge/Skills:  High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
 Previous digital press experience is preferred.
 Able to perform basic set-ups on the machines; knowledge of basic print production and job flow beneficial.
 Strong attention to detail.
 Good mechanical aptitude, computer skills and math skills needed.
 Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
 Ability to problem solve.
 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
 Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
