Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team.
As a Welder, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating metal components according to specifications.
Your expertise in welding techniques and ability to read blueprints will be crucial in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products.
Duties:
- Perform various welding tasks, including but not limited to MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding techniques and requirements
- Set up and operate welding equipment and tools, such as plasma cutters, power tools, and press brake machines
- Inspect welds for accuracy, completeness, and structural integrity
- Conduct repairs or modifications as needed to meet project specifications
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Welder or similar role
- Proficient in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick)
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
- Familiarity with codes, standards, and regulations related to welding processes
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Knowledge of machining processes is a plus
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials
- Experience operating a crane is preferred but not required
