The role of the Hardware Installer will be focused on the delivery and installation of printers and multi-function copiers, repair and maintenance of various office equipment while providing excellent customer service.
*Major Goals and Responsibilities:* The following job responsibilities are intended to reflect the major responsibilities of the job, but do not describe the minor duties or other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills, and/or abilities.
Incumbent will be required to satisfactorily perform all essential functions of the job.
* Responsible for timely delivery and installation of printers, multi-function copiers, fax machines, and any other supplies as required * Confirm correct equipment is loaded by checking paperwork * Secure equipment to prevent damage during travel and delivery * Conduct daily check of delivery vehicle to ensure proper operation and to prevent potential issues * Ensure proper operation of machines upon installation follow-up service call, if necessary * Train customers staff on usage and problem solving such as, paper jams, changing toner, document feeder, duplexing, changing size of documents, scanning to email/folder, faxing options, and adding contacts to address book * Communicate progress throughout the day with manager * Complete all machine paperwork with required information and submit to Administration for processing.
* Provide recommendations to current and new clients regarding A&B services * Repair various copiers and printers, facsimile, duplicators, and variety of other types of office equipment * Install print drivers * Understand digital device connectivity * Manages various inventory *Skills/Abilities:* * Must be able to lift and move up to 60 pounds of equipment * Ability to drive 10,000-pound delivery vehicle in a safe manner * Strict attention to detail and organized * Personable, customer-centric, honest, and trustworthy * Excellent time management: ability to multi-task and meet deadlines * Self-motivated and hardworking * Problem-solving and critical thinking skills * Discipline to work without close supervision * Ability to make decisions * Able to work comfortably with a variety of customers and associates * Flexible attitude and versatility in learning *Qualifications Required:* * High school diploma or GED * Clean driving record * 1 year of warehouse/delivery experience preferred * Background in electronics and/or mechanically inclined preferred * Technical College education is helpful *Compensation: *Hourly *BENEFITS:* * Paid Time Off * Full Benefits * Competitive Salary * Bonus Opportunities * Community Involvement and Volunteering opportunities * Team Environment with the ability to share and incorporate individual ideas * 401k Retirement Program * Employee Assistance Program _A&B Business is an equal opportunity employer.
