JOB SUMMARY
As a quality control technician, your overall role will be to collect, prepare, test and analyze samples in order to determine gradation and characteristics, using laboratory apparatus and testing equipment.
You will need to do this at various sites/locations according to pre-set procedures.
You will need to ensure tests conform to state and/or ASTM standards.
Ensure OSHA, DOT, EPA, DNR, MSHA, Federal, State, and Local safety and environmental regulation compliance including attending training.
To be successful in this role, you must be able to work varied hours, limited travel within the area, able to multitask and have a valid driver's license.
Typical hours during Production are M-F 6am-4pm and only occasional Saturdays.
Typical hours during Maintenance are M-F 8am-4pm.
Rarely any Saturdays.
