Position Summary: The Enterprise Architect is responsible for establishing the overall technical strategy and service delivery to both our internal and external customers.
In partnership with the CTO and IT Leadership, you will build and maintain a target state architecture that aligns with the business vision, goals, and strategies.
As an Enterprise Architect, you will develop and maintain functional and secure architectures across the IT disciplines (network, security, systems, data governance, authentication, virtual, and cloud environments, support, DR, and BCP).
This role will be key in cataloging, developing, coordinating, maintaining, and enforcing overall enterprise architecture models, initiatives, and capabilities, while continuously improving IT infrastructure and optimizing business operations for efficiency with an emphasis on knowledge sharing among partners.

What will you do: Accountabilities Project/Process Leadership Accountability (PLA) Lead with clear direction, providing the necessary tools to delegate and elevate for growth and development of self and other teammates.
Delegate and assist in researching solutions and their effects on network traffic, network security, systems administration, and support with the goal of keeping the Bank’s platforms up to date with the latest technologies.
Recommend basic and advanced configuration, monitoring, maintenance and analysis of data processing equipment, video systems, and telephony system.
Provide feedback/recommendations on future projects based on business requirements and user needs.
Provide technical maintenance and recovery support to the FNBSF networks.
Provide guidance to network, systems, and security team members in maintaining the implementation and processing environments.
Maintain proper system and process documentation, complete change control documentation in depth.
Assist with the automation, deployment, integration, and testing of enterprise systems and services.
Mentor system administrators to troubleshoot and optimize our network and systems for users.
Enterprise Architecture Consult with the department managers and vendors to research solutions that will support Bank needs.
Develop IT architecture strategies, standards and guidelines which support the banks goals, overall security, stability, supportability, and target state architecture.
Design and implement IT systems, networks and security maturity model which supports the Banks goals.
Work closely with your fellow IT Leaders and key stakeholders from across the Bank to understand their needs and develop unified solutions to support the overall direction.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to the entire IT team.
Communicate well, own expectations and consequences to IT Team and Bank Sr Leadership.
Help to introduce and maintain enhanced processes which influence areas such as; advanced change control process to eliminate or drastically limit production downtime; business case readiness; sub-committee reporting by enhancing monitoring and statistical reporting.
Network, Systems and Solutions Deployment Develop a plan for enhancing network performance monitoring and capacity with proactive alerting.
Develop and implement a plan for monitoring network/systems performance, network security, and support analytics.
Provide recommendations to enhance performance and provide for future growth.
Assist in installation and configuration of new technology, system upgrades and/or enhancements.
Assist in installation of hardware (servers, routers, and network equipment) and software (service packs, patches, and upgrades).
Develop an automated workflow process to enhance software deployments, services readiness, and unattended service validation.
Provide technical assistance to other members and areas of the Technology department.
Provide reports to management, including system performance and incident/downtime reporting and planning reports for areas of responsibility.
Stay abreast of industry best practices within the financial sector; this involves evaluating emerging technologies that have been proven effective, with the aim of enhancing security, efficiency, and the overall end user experience.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in technology, or related field.
Twelve or more years related experience in technology, including expertise to OS & Virtual Environment, Network LAN and WAN configuration, SDWAN, VLAN, and switching environments or equivalent combination of education and experience that would enable incumbent to meet accountabilities and required competencies of the position.
Related network-related certification (CCNP, CCNA, CCDP, MCSE) preferred.
VCP/VCAP and CISSP desired.
Skills and Abilities Proven work experience as an Enterprise Architect or similar role.
Excellent technical, analytical, and project management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in modeling and graphic representations.
Centralized network device management – Aruba/Cisco/Fortinet/Juniper/Palo Alto Central Management experience.
Secure network access control / radius server - Aruba ClearPass experience preferred.
Strong working knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, and Fortinet Network firewalls, switches, gateways, and access points.
SDWAN design and implementation experience.
Network Segmentation knowledge and experience preferred.
IP Telephony experience preferred; Cisco/Mitel/Avaya.
Substantial knowledge of VMware ESX/NSX implementation and administration.
Active Directory design and implementation experience.
Excellent communication/interpersonal skills and customer service orientation combined with ability to communicate effectively across business lines at all levels.
Strong research, time management, and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet concurrent deadlines.
Strong technical, problem-solving, and analytical reasoning skills to understand end user's requirements and transform into operational application and technical alternatives.
Ability to work independently and mentor those with less experience.
Self-motivated.
Ability to investigate and stay current with technologies and automation capabilities to always maintain a world class secure environment.
Stay abreast of the customer experience within the bank as well as our external customers.
