Johnson Construction, a well established Construction Management and Design Build company is seeking an EXPERIENCED commercial construction Senior Project Manager/Estimator.
Successful candidate must be a seasoned professional with excellent construction knowledge of project management and estimating materials and systems, and a 10 year history of successful performance in a similar position.
Projects would include Schools, Detention Facilites, state and local government building projects, office, industrial and manufacturing facilities, and interior remodeling.

Duties & Responsibilities Managing Project Management and Estimating Team Managing Construction Management Projects CMAR, proposals, contracts Estimating materials on projects for customer quotes Hard Bid and Conceptual Estimating Providing excellent customer service Setting appointments with potential customers, preparing quotes on projects and selling project to contacts.
Reviews all shop drawings prior to approval, issues RFI’s as needed and expedites shop drawing approvals.
Efficient project scheduling Contract Management Requirements Knowledge of current building codes for design of building elements Previous estimating experience in the steel or metal buildings industry and/or wood building components Ability to contribute effectively in a team environment Strong written and verbal communications skills Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task Strong ability to analyze and strategically plan projects Strong computer skills, including knowledge of MS Word and Excel, Planswift/BlueBeam, Procore, Submittal Exchange Teach Project Management and Estimators Company Standards Willingness and means to travel and a valid driver’s license are required Preferred Qualifications 4 Year Construction Management or Civil Engineering Degree 10 years Commercial Construction Estimating/Project Management of projects $1-40 Million Osha 30 Relocation Assistance Available Benefits: Health Ins, 401K, PTO, **We take pride in faith, family, hard work ethic, and Team Spirit!** ***This position is in Harrisburg, SD*** #hc118455
