From design and manufacturing to on-site installation, our highly skilled team never stops striving to improve.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Load and unload freight.
May run pick lists or other related documentation.
Pick and package orders as needed.
Transport inventory to proper locations.
Create and maintain processes and instructions for shipping.
Assist in preparing, wrapping, and labeling pallets.
Inspect outgoing shipments for proper packaging.
Schedule shipments, or work with logistics team members to schedule shipments.
May order shipping supplies, or notify appropriate person.
Train new team members.
May assist with cycle counts.
Depending on division, may operate forklift or pallet jack.
Demonstrates the Viaflex Team Member Values in their daily actions.
Participate in production improvement initiatives.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Follow established safety and ergonomic standards.
May be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assist in other areas as needed.
Learning, understanding, continuously improving, and promoting the division’s quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent education.
5+ Previous shipping/receiving experience is required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Depending on division, have ability to operate a forklift, pallet mover, and hoist equipment.
Working knowledge of ground and air carriers, LTL, and international shipment procedures.
Ability to maintain accurate records.
Good organizational skills.
Ability to multi-task.
Proficiency with a computer.
Team player who is self-motivated and has ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS:
Physical Requirements: Required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach.

Working Conditions: Exposure to a normal office environment.
Position may occasionally require entering a production environment, including exposure to noise, fumes, moving machinery, and varied temperatures.
